Mapping Melbourne's Trees
The City of Melbourne has mapped the wellness of 70,000 of the city's trees using the CartoDB platform. The map uses information from a recent audit of the lifetime expectancy of each tree inward the urban centre to visualize where trees are almost at jeopardy inward Melbourne.
The Urban Forest Visual uses unlike colored markers to squall for the life expectancy of every tree. The shapes of the markers exhibit the species of tree mapped.
