Mapping Auschwitz
The Auschwitz concentration military camp was a network of High German Nazi extermination as well as concentration camps built inwards annexed Poland during World War II. The military camp consisted of Auschwitz I, Auschwitz II – Birkenau as well as Auschwitz III. This Auschwitz-Birkenau - High German Death Camp map overlays 1944 & 1945 aerial photographs of the 3 camps on a Google Map.
The 3 historical aerial photos are each labelled alongside details almost the camps showing the locations of gas chambers, crematoriums, bomb craters, execution walls etc. The map includes a transparency command which allows yous to compare the historic photos of the camps alongside the acquaint hateful solar daytime Google Maps satellite imagery.
